All of the
Mountain Lake clan is doing great. Greta was
at the vet yesterday and she weighed 65
pounds. Greta was checked over by my vet and
he thinks her hips are OK but she still
favors her left rear when she runs! Greta is
still very pretty and very sweet!! Jack is
doing well and he enjoying himself during
the winter weather. Irma and Indigo (Jack X
Yefri) weighed 52 and 54 pounds respectively
at 7 months of age when I took them to the
vet a couple of weeks earlier and both are
doing fine and my vet could not find a thing
wrong with their hearts and lungs.
The little
female Irma is Jack made over and they both
are very sweet like Jack. They have caught
up to the growth chart in weight but they
seem to be slowing down in growth so I
suspect they will be on the small side but
that is fine with me. Jack's pups with Eva
vom Mystical Haus look very good with two
big strong males. The pups weigh nearly 10
pounds each at one month of age and they
have big chests and heads so I suspect they
will be large dogs. Eva's sire Hessel from
Odonnell's was a big physically strong dog
so some of that may be coming from him as
well as from Orry.
Both of the
pups from the Jack X Eva mating look to be
working or schutzhund dogs in the making but
that is no surprise as Jack has sired
several fine working and sport puppies in
previous litters. I am very happy to have
Jack as he has proven to be a fun dog to
live with and he produces excellent puppies.
Many thanks to you and Sharon for making
that possible. All is going well in 2012 and
I hope the same is true for you and Sharon.

Wade it was very
nice to meet you and your family. It's good
to know there's still honest people out
there. If you ever change your mind on that
bi color boy please let me know. He's
beautiful and I'd love to have him. When
your ready to use Brutus let me know and
will work something out. See his carjacking

Eve update!! |
Eve is doing wonderful. In
fact, I think that as soon as she matures
(in the next year or so) I want another
puppy from you!! I must be crazy wanting to
go through the puppy stage again, but she is
so wonderful. And, you are right, she has
over the top prey drive, and she will
develop her defense later, but obedience?
Well you will get obedience if you have one
of her two favorite things her rag or her
kong ball. She will watch those even with
the distraction of geese and she is even off
leash!!
Two different police officers from two
different police departments have watched me
play with her (rag work) and have made
offers. Sorry, not taking them!!! However, I
have steered them toward you!! She weighs 51
pounds now, still lean, but all muscle!! Boy
is she strong!!!
Angie has not seen her yet, because I have
not had the money to get her started in
class, but she has talked to me on the phone
and given me some work to do with her until
I can get the $300 together to start. I am
going to take pictures this weekend and will
send them to you. She is a beauty and has
brains to boot!!! You can post this on your
website if you wish!! Also, did you start
her on any tracking work, she has a nose
that is unbelievable!!! And she wont be six
months old until May 11th!!

Hello Wade,
Well I just wanted to let
you know that I took Edi out to the
schutzhund club this past sunday and she was
a very big hit. The president of the club
wanted to steal her from me. She fired up on
the decoy and had no problem bitting. She is
a very confident pup, I am very please and
grateful that you let me buy such a find
bitch from you.

I wanted to drop you a line
and tell you thank you again for Eve!! And
thank you for letting me call you all
weekend with questions!!! When I first
called you and told you what I was looking
for you told me that there was a few pups
that would have fit the bill. The more we
talked (over the next several weeks
months) the more you understood what I
needed better than I did. Well, when I got
there on Thursday, I have never been more
excited and happy. Eve is everything you
promised and more. You know your dogs and
what is even better, you get to know your
customers so that you can match the right
dog with the right customer!! Eve is not
scared of a thing and she is a happy pup!! I
promise to keep you updated on her progress
and will get pictures to you in the next few
days. Wade, I cant thank you enough for the
feeling of security and companionship Eve
has brought me!

My Visit to Mountainlake |
Dear Mr. Wade, I am sending
you this e-mail to tell you
about my trip to Mountain
lake Kennels. I enjoyed my
visit there and the staff
was knowledgeable of the
dogs and their training. I
am considering buying my
next dog from your kennel
and Mr. Wade for my Home and
personal use. I plan on
making
another trip to the kennels
with my family so my
children could see the
training and learn what it
can take to train a German
Shepherd to do the work.

Hi Mr. wade wanted to give you an update the
guys are doing great the are settling in to
the training very well great deep mouths we
are very pleased. Bruno is laying at my feet
now waiting to go to work he likes being
around all the people but when its time to
work he is a monster couldn't be more happy.
I might have to come see about black jack or
cyclone.
